500 MILES is a poetic, life-affirming road movie and celebration of the human spirit that follows a broken family who are forced to come together when two young brothers run away from home.
While their fighting parents (Clare Dunne & Michael Socha) tear their hair out with worry, runaways Finn (Roman Griffin Davis) and his live-wire younger brother Charlie (Dexter Sol Ansell) embark on an epic adventure from Yorkshire, over land and sea, to the Wild West coast of Ireland. With the free-spirited busker Cate (Maisie Williams) helping the young boys along the way, their destination is Dingle, County Kerry, and their estranged, beloved Grandfather (BAFTA-award winner Bill Nighy), who their parents haven’t spoken to since the fateful events of the previous summer.
Directed by BAFTA-winner Morgan Matthews and written by Malcolm Campbell, this powerful adaptation of Mark Lowery’s acclaimed book Charlie and Me: 421 Miles from Home is produced by New Origin, Port Pictures and Minnow Films. Produced by David M. Thompson, Alexander Gordon, Martina Niland and Keren Misgav Ristvedt, and with music from Jamie Duffy, 500 MILES stars Bill Nighy (Love Actually, Living) alongside Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit), Dexter Sol Ansell (A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms), Clare Dunne (Herself, Kin), Michael Socha (This is England) and Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones).

Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour Summer Season
Verdi’s Aida
In Aida, Verdi masterfully pits the intimate affairs of the heart against the grandeur of the universe: where kingdoms rise and fall and the sands of time grind onwards. There could be no grander setting for such an opera than Sydney Harbour itself, awash with the light of the city and the Sydney Opera House silhouetted against the setting sun.

This session is designed to take the fear and confusion out of life’s more difficult legal subjects. We’ll demystify wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, inheritance tax, and care costs — breaking down complex rules into plain English. You’ll learn how each of these areas can directly affect you, your family, and your financial future, and gain practical insight into the key things you need to consider before making important decisions.
Unlike last year, we’ve built in much more time for questions and answers, so you can put your own situation to a real solicitor and get the answers you actually care about. There will also be more solicitors in the room, giving you the chance to have smaller, more personal conversations on the day. On top of that, we’ll cover what’s changed in the law recently, and what changes are on the horizon, so you leave feeling up to date.
During the session, there will be a 30 min coffee break with pastries and at the end at 1pm there will be a light complimentary buffet lunch and an informal opportunity to chat to the solicitors.
FREE TO ATTEND
If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to eight billion people. We are coming close to ... Disclosure Day.

Living Spit presents
Too Many Greek Myths
When two members of Clevedon-based comedy theatre company, Living Spit, are overhead bragging about how good they are, Zeus, enraged by their hubris, decides to teach them a lesson. His punishment? A Herculean challenge: to squeeze twenty of the greatest Ancient Greek myths into one chaotic, side-splitting show!
Join Living Spit as they tackle everything from Hades to Heracles, Midas to Medusa, with their trademark blend of harebrained humour, questionable wigs and a total disregard for historical accuracy. Can they conquer the labyrinth of legends before time runs out? Or will the gods have the last laugh? Prepare for a mythological marathon-Living Spit style!
Warning: May contain togas, ridiculous puns and possibly an overworked Trojan Horse.

Set against the backdrop of 18th century England, a massive Pox outbreak, and Jacobite Uprising - this is a timely and darkly satirical story of Sir Chauncey Savage (Grant) and Lady Savage’s (Foy) blind pursuit of a better life. It is not without a tinge of irony that their family name is the Savages, for this is a Savage House indeed. Filled with duels, decadence, and bloodshed, this is a madcap play on class and power.

We are very excited to bring you a rare UK gig with the fine gentlemen from Hackensaw Boys!
The Hackensaw Boys are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their classic album ‘Love What You Do’ with an extensive European tour in 2025/26. They could have chosen any album from their deep catalogue, but ‘Love What You Do’ stands out as a fan and band favourite. This album, with its unique blend of bluegrass, punk, and folk, is a true monument to Americana.
‘Before string bands were a “thing” in popular culture, there was the Hackensaw Boys. Before The Avett Brothers were selling out arenas, before Mumford & Sons were becoming the biggest band in music in a given year, before everybody and their brother was growing a beard and wearing suspenders and playing in jug bands, the Hackensaw Boys were mixing bluegrass and old time music with a punk attitude, and reshaping what a modern old school string band could sound like’. — Saving Country Music.
You’ll find it impossible to sit still during this performance.

Bart Schrijver’s acclaimed drama follows former best friends and roommates Chris (Bart Harder) and Lluis (Carles Pulido), who meet up after a decade to hike Scotland’s West Highland Way and Cape Wrath Trail.
Having taken the same 350-mile walk in their youth, the pair hope to rekindle their once-strong friendship by spending 30 days together in the majestic, raw beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
But while Chris remains preoccupied with work and life back at home, Lluis is determined to finish the trail to prove he can still do it. Amidst the sweeping landscapes, harsh weather and chance encounters with other hikers, the solitude and silence of the trek force the pair to confront truths about themselves and their friendship – and find out what it truly means to stand still and listen.
Shot entirely on the route of the walk, and in chronological order, The North is a beautiful ode to friendship and the healing power of nature. It’s not only a poignant and powerful drama, but also perhaps the definitive hiking film, allowing us to take in the stunning majesty of the Highlands shoulder-to-shoulder with Lluis and Chris as they reconnect with each other and with nature.
Language: In English and Spanish and Dutch with English subtitles.
