These 4 charismatic acoustic troubadours deliver a rousing good time with their mix of Americana, Latino, Country, folk, funk, Blues and Bluegrass. Overflowing with musical talent and with humour never far away, theirs is an irresistible flavour of brass-fuelled, sing-along, dance-along music.
The band comprises two Irishmen, an Englishman and an American (Garret Wall, Dave Mooney, Howard Brown & Robbie K. Jones). Their success is certainly no joke! Whether on a festival main stage or in a basement club singing around one mic, Track Dogs delight in entertaining audiences with their infectious original songs and covers that get everyone singing.
Their wonderful 4-part harmonies have drawn comparisons to groups such as Crosby, Stills & Nash, America, Calexico and Manu Chao. Garret’s warm, distinctive lead vocals and upbeat yet lyrically deep songwriting are central to the sound. Band members sometimes take their turn to lead on particular songs, to great effect. The band plays an ever-developing array of instruments including acoustic guitar, electric base, trumpet, cajon, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, flugelhorn and piano.
