From Essex punk potter to international superstar, national treasure Sir Grayson Perry is one of Britain’s favourite contemporary artists. Now, he is a core part of The Establishment with works highly sought after. This lecture will examine his exciting and thought-provoking exhibitions and the unique character inside the flamboyant frocks.
Ian Swankie is a guide, cruise speaker and lecturer with a special interest in art and architecture. He says that his enthusiasm can be rather contagious. He is an accredited lecturer for The Arts Society and a fully qualified City of London tour guide. He shows people around Tate Modern, Tate Britain, St Paul’s Cathedral and other London landmarks.
