Come and see cats on the big screen and help some real cats in need
What CatVideoFest is
From Grumpy Cat to Lil Bub to an endless stream of super-shareable cat videos, felines have long dominated internet culture. But did you know you can feed your obsession with an annual event that takes the phenomenon to the next level — the silver screen?
CatVideoFest has been curated exclusively by Will Braden since 2016, and he says he watches around 15,000 cat videos to prepare the annual 70-minute presentation that plays in movie theatres around the country. His business card says simply, “I watch cat videos.”
The 2026 edition runs for 70 minutes and brings together short-form live action, animation, music, mini-documentary material and internet favourites in a fast-moving, family-friendly cinema experience and 10% of the ticket sales will go directly to local cats in need.

The Royal Ballet presents MANON [Revival]
Synopsis:
In the seedy underbelly of 18th-century Paris, money is king. Nothing is sacred – even love itself can be bought for the right price. A native of this hedonistic underworld, Manon is caught between twin desires when she falls in love with the student Des Grieux. Steadfast and devoted, he offers the possibility of an honourable life. Yet, the riches promised by the world of Parisian society remain tempting...
Manon’s inner turmoil and struggle for survival lie at the devastating heart of Kenneth MacMillan’s 1974 adaptation of Abbé Prévost’s novel. In this signature work of The Royal Ballet, MacMillan’s nuanced understanding of human psychology makes for an unflinching look into the moral degradation of Manon’s Paris, while all its decadence and decay are brought to life through Jules Massenet’s score and Nicholas Georgiadis’s designs.
Creatives:
Choreography KENNETH MACMILLAN
Music JULES MASSENET
Orchestration MARTIN YATES
Conductor KOEN KESSELS
Designer NICHOLAS GEORGIADIS

Rabbit & Rey and the Lost Things
Ever felt like the world’s playing hide and seek with your stuff?
One moment it’s there... the next, poof! Your toy, your glasses, your book, your sock... even your ideas, gone.
Meet Rey, an imagination expert, a question-asker, a glorious misplacer of everything, and by their side, Rabbit, their forever-loved bunny, wise and fiercely loyal. The one who's always there when the world feels too much.
Together they set off on an unforgettable quest, to find all the things they’ve ever lost…
Whilst Rey & Rabbit explore they realise the trail of Lost Things doesn’t end with them. Other people have Lost Things too!
As Rey begins to realise that being a 'loser' might not be that bad, something remarkable starts to happen. What if losing things wasn’t the problem but the path?
This bold, funny and heart-tugging adventure mixes puppetry, visual storytelling and beautiful twists of the imagination, to explore our brilliant, often bewildering brains and what it means to live life a little out of order.
