An Evening with the Suchet Brothers

An evening with the Suchet Brothers

John Suchet in conversation with David Suchet – Hercule Poirot himself!

We are delighted that The Flavel’s Honorary Patron, John Suchet OBE will be joined by his brother, Sir David Suchet for a one-off evening of conversation about their fascinating, and very different, lives and careers.

David will also be talking about his new TV series ‘Travels with Agatha’ in which he travelled to locations that Agatha Christie visited, immersing himself in countries she explored to uncover the literary enigma’s inspirations.

As well as an exceptionally distinguished acting career, David Suchet has published two books which will be available for sale and he will be happy to sign them. These are ‘Poirot and Me’ and, the more recently published sumptuous book on his hobby of photography, ‘Behind the Lens – My Life’.

Audience questions are welcome and there will be a complimentary glass of wine served afterwards where you will have the opportunity to continue the conversation with John and David.

Gillian Anderson (Sex Education), Vanessa Kirby (The Crown), and Ben Foster (Lone Survivor) lead the cast in Tennessee Williams’ timeless masterpiece, returning to cinemas.

As Blanche’s fragile world crumbles, she turns to her sister Stella for solace – but her downward spiral brings her face to face with the brutal, unforgiving Stanley Kowalski.

From visionary director Benedict Andrews, this acclaimed production was filmed live during a sold-out run at the Young Vic Theatre in 2014.
