A series of short recitals given by local musicians. Co-ordinated by Helen Deakin

Thursday 13th July
Jake Montgomery – Smith (violin). This talented young violinist from Cornwall treats us to a recital of wide ranging repertoire, with a cameo appearance from younger sister Millie, who has a very promising voice.

Thursday 14th September:
19 year old Alex Highley (piano) has been using his gap year to improve his extend his repertoire. He has a particular leaning towards exciting, virtuosic pieces & his programme includes both the first and third of Chopin’s Scherzos. .

Thursday 12th October:
Mary Beth Dunstan and Karen Bryant-Mole (sopranos) sing a programme of their favourite duets interspersed with a sprinkling of solo pieces.

Thursday 9th November:
UK based Russian musicians Yulia Northridge (violin) and Ekaterina Shetliffe (piano), give a recital which ranges from the 1st movement of Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 to the theme from Schindler's List.

Thursday 14th December:
Norman Cork & Friends sings Ray Charles and other R&B numbers..

Proceeds from all Flavel Recitals go directly to support the Classical Series
