In our February line up we have Morgan Rees, Keiran Boyd and Abigail Carter-Simpson:

Morgan Rees

Morgan Rees is a rising star of the UK circuit. This softly spoken Welsh comedian boasts a densely packed arsenal of impressive one-liners and hilarious short stories. He has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the prestigious finals of the BBC New Comedy Award. He was also a runner-up in So You Think You’re Funny 2017, and a finalist in Chortle Student Comedy Award.

Kieran Boyd

Semi-finalist in So You Think You’re Funny?, Amused Moose Laugh-Off, and part of Fringe favourites WitTank, Kieran has been performing his inventive, high-energy stand up across the country for five years. He gigs for Avalon, CKP, The Stand, Komedia, and Highlight amongst others as well as numerous shows at the Edinburgh Festival. 2020 has seen him support Ed Byrne and Ed Gamble on tour.

Abigail Carter-Simpson

Abi entered the world of comedy in 2017 when she joined the cast of 'Newsrevue' for their annual Edinburgh run. Newrevue holds the Guinness World Record for the Longest Theatrical Run Of A Comedy and is a show that seems something of a 'right of passage' for many of the big names in comedy.

She found a knack for writing and performing comedy and found it lead to many a great accolade and experience. She uses the four chords she knows on a ukulele to bring her act to life writing about the mediocre trappings of life alongside catchy tunes!

A regular on the comedy circuit, she was the support act for Simon Brodkin in 2019 and has reached great heights in prestigious comedy competitions:

- Max Turner Prize 2020 – Finalist

- So You Think You're Funny 2019 - Semifinalist
