Polar Explorer Ann Daniels is a world record holder and one of Britain’s leading explorers. As a mother of four children, she entered the Guinness book of world records as part of the first all-women’s team to reach the North and South poles.
She is a Polar guide and ice leader of five scientific Arctic expeditions, working and surviving on the moving Arctic Sea ice.
She has worked with NASA, The European Space Agency and many scientific institutions globally, to understand the environmental changes in these fragile regions at the very ends of our planet.
Ann’s talk will follow her adventures in the harshest most difficult terrains on earth, crossing the Arctic Ocean and Antarctica and will include her environmental work on the changing Arctic Ocean
