Jazz Club - John Horler plays Bill Evans

Jazz Club - John Horler plays Bill Evans

Jazz and classical idioms live happily side by side in the benign and often surprising world of pianist and composer John Horler. He has been known for many years as one of the UK’s finest jazz pianists working closely with Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine for 20 years. He has also performed with Art Farmer, Chet Baker, Zoot Sims, Maynard Ferguson, Tony Coe, Ronnie Ross, Pete King, Kenny Wheeler and Tommy Whittle amongst others.

Bill Evans is very close to John's heart, inspiring his enthusiasm for the piano as a jazz instrument.

The Trio comprises John Horler (piano), Ron Phelan (bass), Ronnie Jones (drums).
