Position 1:

We are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager/Volunteer Coordinator, reporting to the Operations Manager.

This is a part-time position. 16/20 hours a week working on a Rota basis, including evenings and weekends. Full training will be provided and the salary will be confirmed during the interview process.

Responsibilities will include: Managing all aspect of the venue, including customer service, health & safety, ticket sales and overseeing the box office. Setting up the venue for room hire bookings and Flavel events. Volunteer recruitment and training and administration of the volunteers rota.

You will ideally have experience in managing volunteers and strong administration skills including Microsoft Office and email, as well as telephone sales skills. Multi-tasking, problem solving and the ability to work as part of a team would also be desirable.

Position 2:

Part-time Cleaner Vacancy

The Flavel require a part-time cleaner to help maintain their Covid-19 safeguarding policy in-between performances and events.

Hours of work:

From 11th September Friday and Saturday 5pm - 6pm

From 1st October Thursday, Friday and Saturday 5pm - 6pm

Duties will include:

Sanitising the main auditorium seating, handrails, doors and pinch points. Sanitising handrails, door handles and pinch points in the public areas, including the foyer and reception area and cleaning the ladies & gents’ toilets.
